Photos you take are sorted on the device by Apple Intelligence and stay on the device. If you turn on Claude, each photo you sort while it is on is sent to Anthropic to be read, together with the words found on it. Nothing else is sent: no name, no identifier, no location, no history. Anthropic's handling of that request is covered by its own privacy policy.
